Since then, Derek has dedicated his time and efforts to freelance photography, videography and photojournalism in music and entertainment. Over the years, Derek worked his way up as a contributing photographer for independent music media websites, lead photographer and now lead videographer with the New York City Hot Sauce Expo, stock photographer with Polaris Images, shooting freelance photography for the youthful publication Revolver Magazine in 2014, to finally being offered an amazing opportunity as a current house photographer with Live Nation Concerts' venues in New York City. His work has been published in various magazines and live concert DVD art in the U.S. and abroad.
